Booking & payment
- A booking request from the website holds your slot once we confirm it by phone or email — the estimated total becomes final at confirmation.
- Room rentals may require a refundable deposit, returned after the event if the space is left as found.
- Kitchen use is a flat fee — ask when booking.
- We accept card and cash at the shop.
Cancellation & rescheduling
- Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your booking.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit.
- If we ever have to cancel on you (it's rare), you get a full refund and first pick of a new date.
House rules
- The Java Shoppe is a welcoming, recovery-friendly space: no alcohol, no drugs, no exceptions.
- Capacity is 40 guests — fire code, not a suggestion.
- Outside food is welcome for private rentals; coffee service comes from us.
- You break it, we talk about it like neighbors.
- Events end by 10pm so the neighborhood sleeps easy.
Privacy
- When you book, we collect your name, phone, and email — only to run your booking and send your receipt.
- We never sell your information, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
- Want your details removed? One email to info@thejavashoppe.org and it's done.
